I saw the gameplay because a friend had it and watched her play a little.

So, I saw what it looked like (I liked it), but no idea if the story matters.

Its sort of like playing Fallout 3 without having played the previous versions. I would have recommended people play at least Fallout 2 before playing 3 to get a feel for the world.

Bought it last night for my PC, and played through till I got to Hammerlock (or whatever his name was). Not sure this will replace Diablo or X-Com, but it's pretty fun so far.

I'm just about done with the first hub (hammerlock). I's fun so far, but twitchy. I'm almost level 10 though.
