Wide tires on my C7

I just installed some Forgestar F14 on a set of 285/30/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport Zp on the front and 335/25/20 on the rear. The tires stick out about 3/4" past the front and rear fenders. I think it give the car an aggressive stance. What do you guys think?

Yes. Are those rims actually for a Z06?

They look great. Be sure to keep an eye out for any possible erosion of paint where road sand and stone chips will fly up and etch the side of the car behind both the front and rear tires.

As binko says, watch for rock chip damage, especially along the rockers in front of the rear wheels. That area is prone to chips with the stock size tires - those steamrollers of yours will just make it a lot worse! Consider Xpel in those areas, and maybe the factory accessory splash guards. Apsis also makes a nice flare kind of like the C6 Z06 had that works with the Stingray. Any of these will be far less expensive tyan a repaint, and will look better than a bunch of little white specs at deep paint chips!

I'm certain you'll get tire and fender rub/contact on hard cornering for the front. For the rear, at highway speeds you may also get contact when encountering long dips on the road surface. Especially, if two people are in the car along with luggage. I put 3/4" spacers on the rear with stock Stingray wheels and tires. The tires didn't protrude as much as yours and I got fender contact on the sidewalls after cresting hills on the interstate at about 70 mph. BUT NOTE...my Vette has been lowered 3/4" front and rear. With your protrusions, lowering might not be a good idea.

Not my cup of tea, but my opinion does not count, only yours does.

I've never liked the look of tires protruding outside the fender wells.......but as others have said, as long as YOU like it, that's what matters.

I think I've seen you around.......are you from the Jax area? The ALL BLACK looks great!

So far no fender rub! Also I just added the front fender extension which you see on the new Z06.
Yes I'm in the Jax and thanks.
