Dealer I spoke with estimates 3 weeks from when the vin is generated. Obviously that's not a hard date. The quickest I've ever seen was Michigan to Ontario for NB2017ZL1 in less than 10 days. Hope you're on the line with me. We may be related now.

My dealer, in California, said probably 2 weeks after the TPW. You'll get the VIN once the car is produced, some time during the TPW, so 2-3 weeks after getting a VIN sounds about right. If it's built on Monday or Tuesday you'll likely be closer to that 3 week time frame.

I forget how long it took for my 5th gen when I ordered it, but I know it was long because i ordered it 11/10/09 and it was built and shipped during Christmas time. The factory the 5th gen was built at closed for the holidays and then I had to wait for shipping delays due to weather.

Someone said they saw a Krypton ZL1 in Houston in Sugarland but it turned out to be a SS. I contacted the dealer to make sure. Regardless the day is approaching and I'm at 3400 on track for 4/17. I want the workers to get a good nights sleep and maybe watch the Hulk before retiring to bed. Monday is show time!

Notice how many KG cars are getting built 4/17. More than coincidence? It would be cool to see a whole bunch on the line at the plant. The extra days off will make workers happy and building the brightest color Camaro out there will keep them in good spirits. Or they could be pissed off they have to return to work and we will get a lemon. Or is it a lime?

Just got off the chat line with GM. No changes to my TPW of 4/17. Looking forward to getting a vin and scheduling a transport truck to haul it back up north. I need to coordinate a lot of things so it's all going to come together. My Easter egg is KG!

i just found my car on my dealership's website...says in transit and shows a VIN. i may have moved up and didn't know it...lol

How do you go from a TPW to built without any status update? That's crazy. I have to get my car trailered all the way to the Northeast. I'm counting on getting a progress report this week. If it got built ahead of time I wouldn't be able to coordinate the truck to pick it up.
