I'll be jumping ship from 4th Gen to 6th Gen. I probably won't go crazy with it. I'll get the SS in 6 speed. I don't want AFM, it's just another thing to break. As for what I'll do, the upgrades will be bolt ons if anything. I'm sure there will be skip shift so I will get rid of that. If there is that "hill assist" or whatever for the manual, I'll get rid of that as well if possible. Also going to get rid of any other electronic b.s. on these things that I can get away with.

I definitely want to do some cosmetic upgrades not long after getting it. I think I will do some sort of two tone paint scheme. I'm just not sure exactly how it will be implemented.

Going to drive it stock for one summer and let the mods begin at Christmas time while its parked. A nice Maggie sc will find its way to the block with some hotchkis suspension upgrades to start. Oh, and also I couple 12" kicker solobarics for some depth.

I'm in. As soon as I can. Current plan is to load it out from the factory. After that, I 'll have to drive for a while and see what it might need. CAI, Throttle Body, catch can will keep me happy for a while. Once warranty is out, all bets are off.

Not exactly jumping ship.

Body: I like the side vents shown below that bmbll be put on his/her car. That's it for the body. (I think stripes would ruin this car). http://www.camaro5.com/forums/attach...1&d=1396706146......

Performance: Catch can, CAI, Supercharger (negative on the exhaust).......

Interior: Need to see it first......

For those citing catch cans as upgrades...(just fyi)

We asked about any special engineering for the LT1 in the Camaro and Link pointed to the air/oil separator as, “an unsung hero of the car. We developed a legit air/oil separator for the LT1. That was near and dear to my heart. I spent a lot of time on that one.” As all Camaro LT1s will be wet-sump engines, Link told us the air/oil separator is cleverly packaged, so it’s hard to appreciate in the car. Its function is to keep oil out of the airbox and throttle-body—and therefore the combustion chamber—avoiding pre-ignition.
Maybe a catch can will still be useful...but sounds like they've kind of got it covered.

I'll be waiting for a Hyper Blue ZL1 to come out. If Gm does what they did with the vette, it should be out for 2017. I will go full load inc Recaros.

Mods would be intake, rims, splitter. tints, side marker lights, rear diffuser (havoc style), and if Eric from MPD1 can make a hood like mine that looks good on it, I'm in. Possibly vertical doors.....hmmmm
Best part is, wife is all for it. it'll be a milestone B-Day present!

Probably 19" wheels and the ATS-V chassis stiffening components. It might be worth waiting to see if they'll put the better ratios of the ATS-V's TR6060 in a 1LE model (and/or a 3.91 rear end) along with the chassis components.

The new ATS-V (vs ATS) elements include:

Unique shock tower-to-plenum brace
Strengthened rocker bulkhead
Stronger rear cradle-to-rocker braces
A unique aluminum shear panel at the front of the chassis
V-braces for the engine compartment.

I will wait and hope for Inferno Orange, I really like what I have now and would like the same combination.

Not giving rid of my 5th gen.
But I'm going to maybe get the 4cylinder so it isn't expensive. Mainly because I'm wanting to have fun and add offroad suspension, tires, lights
Not extreme mods, but if you played The Crew, the first offroad type camaro look is what I'm going and hoping for. I'd even add the snorkel look from the game
Not joking, actually my wife gave me the ok
Already have a 2SS that is how I want it, maybe a supercharger in future. A Silverado being turned into a PreRunner with long travel suspension. Figured I'd make a mixed child of the two

Probably either, wait and see if there's an orange or get it painted. Was thinking waiting til 2017 anyways, in hopes for an anniversary model or a bigger model. We will see!! And then eventually, twin turbo...
