Just had my order for a 2SS coupe confirmed with a TPW of 9/4! Going to be cutting it awfully close to the strike.

Are all 24s being produced in Lansing?

Also just got the great news from my dealership! My order has been accepted with allocation!!! 2SS 1LE.

They didn't give me a TPW yet, so I'm assuming i'm at status 2000.

Feeling very happy today and lucky to have my order accepted before the strike. Good luck to others here who are waiting to get their orders accepted. Now the journey begins...

That my TPW for my 2SS CE. fingers crossed!!

Yes, all Camaro's period, are run out of Lansing only

Congrats!

Yes all 6th gen Camaros have been built only at Lansing Grand River MI.

5th Gen were built in Oshowa, Ontario.
4th Gen St. Thérèse, Quebec
1st-3rd Van Nuys, CA and Norwood, Ohio

Sounds like a good batch was accepted today. Congrats all and now lets cross our fingers. I'm concerned about the car being built before the strike and then sitting in a parking lot for two months! Theft and bird crap concern me...

Thinking of writing to the local UAW post for that plant and wish them luck...

My order finally went to status 3000 today. Dealer said production is going to be week of 09/11/23.

Got a message from my dealer, production on my 2SS is due to start next week.

Whats the standard time of production to shipment?

Unfortunately there is not a standard time. I've seen people on here wait weeks and months before it's delivered. I feel I got lucky cuz my car was delivered to the dealership exactly 1 week after it was built and I'm in the Metro Detroit area. I feel it comes down to having a full truck to deliver and proximity to the plant.

I live just north of you and my build date is 9/4 so you just gave me hope that I’ll get her delivered before a strike

GM has not updated the national constraints since 9-6-23. Not sure why that is.

That said, it doesn't look like any Camaro allocations went out today.
