Should I Change My Spoiler To The Phastek ACS Deck Spoiler?

I'm thinking about swapping out my existing Hyper Blue GM Blade Spoiler for the Phastek Performance ACS rear deck spoiler. Maybe in black. The more I look at this spoiler the more I want it.

However, I don't like the price, $644 for unpainted black OR add $249 for the carbon metallic black grand total = $893

For installation it says its a direct bolt on. I'm thinking I could just simply take off the existing blade spoiler and re-use the holes for the new ACS rear deck spoiler?

But it is pricey and not sure about the look of it on my car.

What do you think?

I think yours looks great. You don't have to rush into anything, wait until those aftermarkets are out in full force, the prices and availability will change in your favor

since you already have a blade, I would use that money towards a performance mod. That price is pretty high.

I would personally keep the blade, until more options are available. That's a lot of money for a spoiler that to me only looks good from a few angles. I like the back view a lot, but from most other angles it looks big and clunky. It doesn't flow with the lines of the car very well, IMO. I actually like your blade better.

I agree with the other posts. Yours looks real good on your car. Hold off for a while to wait and see what other vendors will be coming out with in the next few months. But in my humble opinion I would leave it on the car!

Wrap your blade in vinyl (or carbon fiber vinyl) if you're getting the itch for contrasting colors. It is nowhere near a $900 upgrade in appearance over your blade spoiler.

I agree that the price for the acs spoiler is pretty high, but I like it!

A quick note. It is Not Phasteks spoiler. It is Advanced Composite Specialties spoiler.

I would say no. Still early in the spoiler game and it is too pricey. Cheaper to buy direct.....

Agree with this... though I like the ACS one better than GM's blade spoiler... I would not even think about putting that much money on a spoiler with no benefits at all... rather spend that money in either a perf mod... or get myself a good radar detector...

The spoiler you have now looks elegant. It's a keeper.

Same as all the above, keep what you have, wrap it black If you want something different. The acs look good from the back but i don't like the"floating" leading edge tips. Takes it a bit to far into batmobile likeness for me...and that's coming from a guy who drives a 98 Trans am

Stay with what you have! Looks classy instead of unnecessarily transformer-esque.
