Just picked up my new 2SS.

Trying to prevent myself from finding excuses to go out and drive it right now.... Came with 3 miles on the odometer, 11 miles on it now from the drive home. I am in freaking love with the car.

Can see my Saturn which the Camaro is replacing in the background....

Just go drive it, I'm not saving mine for anybody. Did that with a couple Corvettes. Have fun with it. Picked mine up from the same store back on December 26 and really enjoying it, 2500 miles worth so far. Nice car!!ce

Not trying to save it or anything.... Heck I would like to get rid of the first tank of gas ASAP so I can make sure premium is in the tank. Just want to keep it in perfect condition on the first day of ownership.

I'll probably take it for a spin tomorrow.

But yeah no major complaints with Criswell. Got a good deal from them. $47,680 MSRP, got it down to $41,500 with their discount, the $1000 rebate, and $1500 from the GM card. Glad they were temp plates. I get to enjoy the car without a front license plate for a few weeks. We need to lobby to get rid of that law.....

Got stopped and fined by a State Trooper early in my Corvette days, not worth it to me. Others may tell you how ugly your front plate is but no one will offer to pay your fine. I bought the ZR1 addons mount and it looks o.k. the stow and go looks pretty good also. You did much better on your deal, I ordered mine and took the hit. Still a lot cheaper than a C7--ce

I also have the ZL1 add ons front plate holder when the tags show up... I also ordered mine. Ordered it on January 28th, built February 27th, got to the dealer last week. Picked up today.

It still hasn't hit me yet that I have indeed bought a sports car, let alone a V8 powered one. Will probably hit me when I see my down payment leave my bank account.....
