I believe this was the Mustang concept you were talking about. To answer your question, the Guiardo concept was just that...a concept. It was not meant to be built. But, if we are talking pure "what if", I would have to say it won't beat the new LSA Corvette. That would be the supercharged LS3 Corvette. We're talking somewhere in the area of 650hp (am I right on this?) vs. 540hp in the stang. I'm sure the vette would also be lighter. So, is there competition? Nope. Vette wins. My opinion.

I thought it wasn't a concept, and that Italian guy just liked Goofing with cars like that.

Well, that's just kind of it. He likes messing with cars. It is my understanding that this was purely meant to be an "idea", or a concept...not to be confused w/ a concept built for possible production. I just guessed that this was the Mustang Z28 was talking about.

Take a peak at the shifter, too. Remind you of any internal engine component...pathetic.

The only thing I will say for it, is this: There are Cameras mounted where any of the mirrors should be, which are linked to TV screens in the passenger dash. Also...pathetic.

I have to agree that the real enemy is the imports.I like the current mustangs but I dont know what they were thinking with this concept.It doesnt even look like a pony-muscle car.Of course given the choice I rather have a camaro but at the same time I rather drive an american mustang before I drive a import.

I saw this at Goodwood, here in the UK. It's much nicer in the metal when parked next to a regular Mustang. Still, I prefer what Ford have done as it looks more like a Mustang should.

Bit like the Veyron really - looks better when you're in it's presence.
