I hate to ask, but how did you make out with the CTAP plug?

Very easy with the mirror and the dentist pick. It took about 10 minutes. Everything is wired up and it all powers on. I hope to get back to it today to test. While I was at it, I dropped my CATS to see how they were holding up. TOTALLY melted! I couldn't believe it. You couldn't even see sunlight through the one side. Now those are "fixed" too.

I should add...I decided to hide the power-on switch inside the driver-side air vent. It is a lighted switch, so you reach your finger in and flip the switch and the vent lights up. Now if I could just find a sneaky place for the MSD shift light.

Good to hear I had a super rough time with it. If you want to use the 2-step you have to lose the cat's.

CATS are gone and I got to take it for a ride (still didn't test the CTAP or 2-step). It feels like a new car! I can't believe the difference. Now it feels like a car that puts 750 to the rear tires. Only problem is it got a little louder. I may need to invest in a second set of mufflers.

2-Step testing tomorrow...I hope!

Everything is working! I do have a question about the CTAP...Is 100% at the floor or at the top of the pedal? I think I'd like to set mine closer to the top of the clutch pedal so it is near the point where the clutch starts to grab.

It sounds mean up against the limiter!!

I use to know the answer to that question off the top of my head but I forgot. I'll be at the shop tomorrow and I ll check to see where I have my CTAP set. That should remind me.

I bet it does when I checked mine it was on the hoist and only set at 1500 rpm. I'm sure it will surprise our Street Legal Night starter the first time I put Pumpkin on the 2-step at 4500. That's only if quits raining up here and I get a chance to try it.

Tried the 2 step at 4500 to day, still no launch wet driveway. CTAP is set at 91, 99 would be at the floor.

Sounds good Merc! If 99 is on the floor, I think I want to go the other direction. Of course, dragstrip testing may show me my idea is wrong.

Also got my MSD shift light to work correctly today. Turns out you have to set it as a 1 cylinder when pulling the signal off of the #1 cylinder coil wire.

Yes you do, my MSD shift light works mint. Sounds like your set to go. Put it to the firewall release the clutch and wait for the light and pull. Weather 50/50 for this Friday night.

Tried the 2-step on street tires at 4500 rpm. Just went up in smoke on street tires. Try it at 5k on slicks this Friday night.

Piece of aluminum, slight bend, lexan, electrical standoffs and acorn nuts.
