First time to track with 4L80

Fastest pass was 10.41@133mph 1.6 60ft. It dead hooks 60' was 1.6 every run. The converter was locking in 3rd too early. I turned converter clutch off in 3rd and went from 128mph to 133. Shouldnt locking it at the top of 3rd gear gain a couple mph? I guess the only way to get my 60 down would be either more power a higher stall or maybe try a shorter tire because lowest gear for a zl1 rear is 3.73.

I did a 1.6 with the m6 and 17" rims. Thought for sure it would do better with a 3600 stalled auto and 15's

Been running the 4L for a while with 3.91 and a fti 3000 converter and it does not lock up at WOT. Trap speed 135 to 137. Is the 650 rwhp with the 4l?? My 60' high 1.40s to low 1.50s .

The 650rwhp was with the m6 on a mustang dyno. How are you controlling the 4L and what rpm are you shifting at? I have a u.s. shift quick one controller and its set to shift at around 6250rpm even though it probably takes a few hundred rpm more to actually shift.

Mr. Nasty started with a 6L so no controller. I think he has the PMC of NC plug. I want a 4L also!

More stall speed and gear. I would think a 4000 stall speed or even a little higher.

Cant add any more gear with the zl1 rear, already took trans out twice in the past month so im going to throw more power at it. Install squash pumps and pull restrictor plate out. I see a shortblock in my future haha

2.48 1st gear and 3.73s is less overall ratio than tr6060 1st gear and 3.45s
You will need 4.10s just to equal it. That's why I run 4.10s with my th400
