This is very interesting..... I am debating building a custom aluminum 1 for Ice..... did you ever put Ice in this? Is opening big enough?

Yes , that's why we put in the drain so I could put ice in after runs and circulate through the system a couple of times to get the supercharger ice cold between runs and during the race. You only want to run water/ice no coolant needs to be drained at the track.......Cap is the stock lid so you cant put big chunks of ice in it but works great for smaller pieces ice.....ie ice tray sized ice.
