traction control ON or OFF??
question, do you guys run with your traction control OFF? or ON?
and why? |

on.....im not doing burnouts all the time and that is why i would turn it off. besides when the car is started it defaults to being on.

I turn it off most of the time. I'm not doin burnouts or anything like that, i just think the car feels more responsive when it's off.

generally off. When it's on it cuts engine power and doesn't really stop the tires from spinning anyways.

I leave mine on. Why? Because it's an anti-slip device which gives you better control of the vehicle WOT.

Initially I turned it off a lot. It will limit power a lot as it tries to maintain rear traction. As my car broke in and loosened up and I modded some I had more and more loss of traction with it off. Then the weather got colder and I would leave it on as the Pirelli's never really got warm enough to grip. I pretty much leave it on now with the increased HP/torque as I am seeing my rear tires wasting away!
Slippery conditions it is a must. As well as Stabilitrac.... Otherwise turn it off and watch the rear tires smoke!!

7 second hold "off" so I can drive it like all camaros should be driven.
