Need Help With 6pt Harness Anchoring

Never really asked for help on this forum but I really could use some.
I'M in a bind to get this done as I'm headed for Mid-Ohio next Friday.
I have 6point SCHROTH harness's that I would like to mount .
I have RaceTech seats,Planted mount and a Studio RSR roll bar in place.
Looks like limited space on the floorpan to mount SCHROTH eye bolts.
Input from guys that have a setup for mounting lap and subs please chime in with info and pics.
Thanks in advance,
Dennis

Hey Dennis,
I wish I could help with some input but I have not done this yet. But have you tried giving any of the higher end race shops a call to discuss. My suggestions might be Katech, Justice Pete, Blackdog Speed shop? I believe they all have raced or built 5th gen race set ups and have likely gone through this struggle as well. I hope you get it worked out in time for Mid Ohio. Good luck Dennis!

zapper, space permitting, can you bolt a set of Tank Plates to the stock seat mounting holes?

I could mount at seat belt fastener on door sides and eyebolt on the tunnel .

Bolting on tank plates to the seat mounts would be the best way to go but finding plates seems to be difficult.

I don't have any pics unfortunately but the Schroth eyebolt plates do fit right next to the frame rails of the body. I believe I had to space them slightly more than 6 inches apart as that was what the frame rail would allow. I did check with the Schroth dealer before doing so. I will try to get some pics and/or some measurements tomorrow.

You should have plenty of room to mount 2 eye bolts under the seat. The seat sits on frame rails and you would mount the 2 eye bolts in front of the rear rail. Those eye bolts are max 1".
Unless I am missing something??

Here was my solution. Had to fab mounts for seat as I'm 6'6" and rear seat mount brace was used to mount crotch strap.

Glad to hear Rick was able to help out. I was planning on running the RA event but was waiting on better weather reports, in my haste I ran out of time and the sign up closed. Now the weather report says it will be 79 degrees up there Wednesday! its ok, I'll probably take a drive up to checkout the action anyways. I'm doing a SCCA track day at the Milwaukee Mile on Thursday so I'll get some seat time, not like RA but fun nun the less

How was your track day on Friday?
Are you going to the track day at RA tomorrow?

Got to run Mid-Ohio on Saturday but got rained out Sunday.
Had a great time anyway and looking forward to going back.
First time out this season with the Z with engine upgrade
You should do the three day event at RA in July with Northwoods Shelby Club
