New 2019 SS 1LE with A10 transmission?
Hi Guys,
I just read that the new SS Camaro is coming out with the A10 transmission that might improve track times, but doesn't mention specifically if the SS 1LE would come that way. Could someone confirm it?

Traditionally, they’ve always come out with only a manual transmission. Personally, I think it would be great if they offered it with the 10 speed. However, to more directly answer your question, GM has not overtly announced anything at all about the 19+ SS 1LE.

1LE is and always will be manual transmission in the 6th gen.

If I wanted a 10 speed and money was not a problem then buy the 2SS ... add the 1LE package as a custom build. That being said the aftermarket offers varaints of better mods and would do my homework. The thing about buying GM performance parts it does not void warranty as far as I know. |

I think we will see and optional auto or dual-clutch on a Z/28 before we see either of those on a 1LE. My 2 cents

If the 1LE is about fast laps, then the automatic should definitely be an option.

The A10 the SS is getting is not the same as the ZL1 unit from what I have read....might want to hold off and see how that plays out. Anywho 1LE have always been manuals.

If you want an automatic 1LE then buy a ZL1, it's just a 1LE with either trans option, plus you get a blower as a bonus.

I dont see why there can't be driving pleasure with an auto. Those making the claims, have you ever been on the track with a proper auto?
