I've been cheating on you all lately on the GM truck forum. Got a 15 LTZ with a 6.2. The Camaro made me want the same motor in a truck. Runs good with the 8 speed. Anyway I think the Camaro is feeling left out even though it is probable up for the winter.

Great choice. I love my 15 Silverado. They are different engines than the Camaro though. Same displacement, but pretty much all new.

Rub her down with some nice wax and take her for a cruise and I am sure she will forgive you.
I am not completely sure why but I test drove the Chevy and the GMC trucks a few years ago and the GMC was so much nicer ride and finish than the chevy trucks. I drove only the diesel 2500's. A world apart in my opinion. Good choice.

great things about a Camaro:
1. they dont care if you drive other cars 2. they dont care if you look at other cars 3. They dont ask where you've been all day / night. 4. They never ask "do these make me look fat?" 5. They are usually ready to go whenever you are. 6. They really dont care where you go eat. 7. They dont care if you spend the weekend with your friends 8. They dont feel like they need to be clean for you all the time 9. They dont bitch at you about anything 10. If you treat them right, they'll always treat you right Please add more as you feel fit... |

The 6.2L is a beast. When my Dad bought his new LTZ, he wasn't making any compromises. It was difficult to find one, but he knew his 5.3 LTZ pulled good and he was hoping the 6.2 wouldn't disappoint. It hasn't. It is night and day. Pulling a 25' enclosed, tandem axle trailer with three motorcycles up over the Appalachian Mountains, the truck never even has to shift. Hammer down!

The one I bought has never towed anything from the look of the receiver and I haven't towed anything yet. The 6.2 vs the 5.3 and ecoboost ford I drove was definitely night and day. There is a tune down the road for this truck
