New to the Club

Hi Gents,

After searching and searching, and begging my wife, I found the ONE and picked up a 2015 ZL1 in Ashen Grey Metallic the other day. I am absolutely astounded by what this thing can do in stock trim. Has literally every option (minus door kick plates) you could get for the car and is 100% stock; I live near Denver so picked it up in the off season (winter) and got a hell of a deal... now just need to wait for a few months and some warmer temps to really get her out and stretch the legs. Even at almost 6,000ft this thing still boogies. Hope to connect with some fellow ZL1 owners!

Cheers!

Brett

Sorry for the low light shots in the garage. Need to clean her up and then we'll take the naughty photos

Nice! What's under that cargo rug... early 2000 GSXR or CBR??? If I had to guess, 2001 1000 GSXR...

14.5K on the clock and picked it up low-mid 40's out the door. It was a good deal in my eyes seeing as it has lower than average miles, one owner, and every option you could get (minus the door kick plates). The Z was spotless, not a single swirl or scratch anywhere. I hope it was treated right, at least it looks that way.

Thanks man! If it doesn't smell like gas, make lots of noise, and go ridiculously fast.. I'm not interested.. I'm sure my wife wished I would just grow up but its too much fun being a kid again.

Nice looking car, I preferred black but that would have been my next choice...I hate v twin sports bikes, a friend had a Suzuki TL1000 and he made the deal without even hearing it run, when he did hear the motor he was sick...But he kept it, I would have told them to tear that paperwork up, they are good for wheelies...I'm a Busa owner but I'll ride with anyone, for the love of riding...And welcome aboard...

Thanks STUNNAH. I love the ZL1 and black was definitely #2 choice. The v-twins offer a certain panache that the inline 4's don't have. I've had my fair share of 4cyl sport bikes, I just like the twins for the extra grunt, albeit, their not as fast. Can't wait for the weather to change here in Denver and get her out to the track!

Cheers!
