Great videos. You were really pulling some G's in the corners at Palmer!

Nice! You were taking it pretty ez at 1.2-1.3g's but with all of those walls, I would too. I hope you have a HANS, if you keep running that course, it is a must!

Looks like a mini Spa with no run off area. Cool video.

nice videos! Yeah, the concrete walls staring me in the face would keep me from running "balls out". That looks like a fun course, however.

Been looking at this track for a while. Looks awesome with all those elevation changes but something about no run off and concrete walls makes me hesitate lol.

Totally insane track
Palmer
Not my cup of tea. I can't believe they built a track that dangerous ( or at least looks that dangerous in 2014) maybe its not that bad in real life?!?!?!? |

This track is magnificent and I will be back. First session in the morning I was supposed to be looking at a student and could not help myself from looking out across the mountains and the clouds were below us!!!
The turn sequence and elevation changes can't be matched by any other track around here. That laguna seca corkscrew turn is worth the trip there alone. It did take me most of the first day to become comfortable. Yes this track can bite you but not as scary as it might look in the video. At 1:02 in the video you can see a hit mark on the wall on the right where we lost an old 911 race car but the guy was fine. The other side of that wall is a cliff...the entire track was blasted in to the side of a mountain. Most of the really fast areas while they have concrete walls tight in, they are not as bad as you might think during a DE event using strict point by rules. Racing there might be another story. http://www.palmermotorsportspark.com/ Go...it's a great place. ps...we have 2 new tracks coming in NH too!!! http://www.clubmotorsports.com/ and I heard some guy is making a small under 2 mile course that "he will rent really cheap"...like crazy cheap byob style somewhere in NH also.
