Running DRLS with fogs?

Trying to find a way to run the DRLS whenever the fog lights go on (and vice versa). Ideally trying to control both housings from the fog light button on the factory switch. I immediately thought of Gen5diy but none of their harnesses seem to be what I'm looking for. Any clues?

Closest idea I got is getting this harness, which basically just looks like a relay harness, and instead of using a switch to trigger the relay, use a tap off the fog lights? http://www.gen5diy.com/PnP_harnesses...witch-control/

There is or was a product, that provides the functionality that you seek and more. The product comprise a harness, OEM connectors, and a waterproof housing with some circuitry, and most importantly one set of jumper pins for controlling all of the behaviour of the halos, DRL, and fogs, and a second set for controlling operating behaviour at day or night.

The supplier was on C5 yonks ago, then run the business as a sideline whilst running out inventory. I lucky enough to be able purchase a specific version for ZL1 and LED side markers, and as a harness it uses a lot more wire than the other harnesses that are more easily available.

I have attempted and failed to contact the supplier a few weeks back, as I was seeking advice on adding switchback LEDs as front turn signals. I suspect the supplier has now wound down the business, but if you pm me, I can forward contact details as I know them, and installation brochures of the product.

I honestly think I'm gonna go for the harness and just wire the relay trigger hot to one of the fog light hots and just go that way. Just wish they could still operate as drls as well. I'll probably figure something out

Update, for anyone else trying to achieve this functionality, Gen5diy is stepping in and building me a custom harness for this

Nice, I bought the Gen5DIY harness, and now the fog lights come on with the lights at night but I still have to press the fog light button during the day when I want them on with the DRLs, I would be interested in a harness that does both, let me know what you find out.

I would give them a call, they really seem to have the front end lighting figured all out, I'm sure they could make something for you

I thought al ZL1's just had DRL's??
From the owners manual;
For vehicles with High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps, the Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) replace the fog lamps.
