We just did a 500+ mile trip from central California to Newport Beach and back, averaged 24.5 mpg in Tour mode. I'm not going to complain about 24.5 mpg with 650 HP........I can just as easily get 4.5 with my foot in it!

Those numbers are set in stone unless something changes on the car.

Maybe the Demon is that good.

I just don't think this A10 is that bad and I could really care less about MPG. Just think it's interesting this car gets better mileage any any of my previous Camaros and I paid the most in GG Tax.

About 16mpg average here. Most of my time spent on the freeway just cruising. Sure, I've nailed the gas a few times but....
I guess, with the ability of 650hp on tap, I should be glad to get 16.

About the best you'll see in a Hellcat outside of eco mode is 16-17 around town. On the highway 21-22 is about the best I could do at 70mph. Something is up here, seriously. We all can say we don't but these cars for gas mileage, but when comparable cars are hit with less tax and have worse real world mpg, our eyebrows should raise.

It's ironic that this thread was created, I was thinking about starting one myself after averaging a best of 27.5 over 25 miles on a trip to the beach. Gotta luv technogy.

I'm sorry but I would have thought that a Direct Injection, Super Charged version of the 6.2 engine in my 2012 ZL1 that is also connected to a 10 speed auto trans would have gotten better mileage than my five year old Z.

What Speed did you drive on the interstate. I averaged 27.8 at 70 with less than a 100 miles on the ZL1 A-10 had a 2017 6M averaged about the same under similar conditions.

Got a bit over 22 mpg from 12-400 miles (driving home from the dealer); drove ~79 mph with some slow traffic and waiting to pay a toll for 7 mins.

Much better than my VW R on E85 (Not Stock), ~21 mpg under similar conditions; the R gets about 25 mpg on 93 AKI.
The VW, even stock never got great mileage.

What RPMs are A10 verses M6 turning at highway speeds? Are you guys running with V4 mode?

Gg tax is complete BS on the A10. I have right at 1100 miles on it. I put 435 on it Saturday and got 25.5 averaging 65mph. Lifetime I am at 24.4 over the 1100. Way better mileage than my 5th gen which was a constant 18 for 26k miles.

No 4 cyclinder mode on the ZL1, and glad its not. My Silverado has that technology and I wasted money on an exhaust and sold it a week later as the sound from V8 to 4 cylyinders was just awful!
