Here is the answer on the sound tube delete. There is no performance difference between the two systems. The main reasons we developed the sound enhancer delete kit were for forced induction cars, and those with headers/exhaust, where increased cabin noise may be undesirable. The delete kit also gives the car a very clean look by removing the flimsy and unsightly sound enhancing tube.

I want to hear the real noise. Piping it into the cabin seems silly even without FI-LTs. I assume your CAI pumps up the standard intake sound from inside the car. The clean look is an added benefit.

You're exactly right - our intake has a nice sound even with the sound delete option. We expect the sound delete option to be very popular as we have heard.many comments similar to yours.
