This is necessary true. On CF a few second allocations were built first. Rick Conti with Coughlin said he had a third consensus car built first before any of his first two. I don't think there is any certain order they are being built. On CF a guy going by gm'er has a spread sheet he updates daily with status.

I found out from my dealer who has 2 cars completed from production and about 10 in line that there was a hold this week on carbon fiber tops. If you order the visible carbon fiber top, you will not go to production this week. No idea when.

Wrong.

If you are past 1100 the new constraint on CF tops and dual tops does not effect you. This is only for dealers placing orders in to be moved from the 1100 status.
