"M" mode Tune

I have a 2015 2SS auto. This may sound strange but, is it possible to tune the "M" mode so that when the throttle is WOT (100%) it will shift automatically. However less than WOT it will remain manual. The reason I ask is I am Getting the 3.91 gear and I am wondering if it would be possible to start in 2nd gear and retain the auto shift on a take off.

Mine does this. I can start in 2nd or 1st, whichever I choose, and if I accidently hit the rev limiter, it will auto shift for me in either of those 2 gears at WOT automatically. As for it shifting "automatically" in manual mode, no I don't think so, only if you hit the limiter. It is a safety feature so you don't blow up the engine.

Transmission tuning isn't as widely discussed as engine tuning is. Look around on different threads on here some and maybe yt and see if you can find your answers. There are some guys that do wild things with the cpu, but may not talk about it as.much.

Yes this is absolutely possible, its how my trans tune is set up. I can paddle down into any gear, stab it and it will shift automatically from there. Makes it great for roll racing.
