I'm a dealer for Wiseco, and Probe... I've talked to Wiseco about it once before, they quoted me $800 for a set of 6 pistons, they could discount the price at 5 sets.

Supposedly they were making a set and had a stock piston in their hands at that time. The guy was saying that it was for a turbo charged application and they had machined the dome to drop the compression to 11.5:1. I told him that that was basically the stock compression already... He claimed the stock compression was 12.5:1, to which on informed him his was wrong... He either had his numbers crossed up, didn't know, or someone got a screwed up set of pistons. I decided not to order some at that time...

I'm going to try Probe.

Wiseco did my pistons. They are 10.0:1 CR with custom wrist pin placement for the rods we had made. I had a set made by Diamond for the stock rods and they were very nice but I kept the 11.5:1 CR.

Looks like the resources are there to build up the LFX. However what about the aisin m6? How much power can it really hold?

Yeah I realize it's a slim shot and not the most popular transmission but in there building a transmission is building a transmission. You might have to pony up for custom parts and R&D but it could be done. Just wondering of anyone has taken these steps yet.

You would be better off having the parts made to adapt a stronger better transmission to the LFX rather than to have custom parts made for the Aisin transmission.

different splines and would need a new bellhousing to adapt the trans, not sure of the dimensions for the shifter location, driveshaft too and clutch with slave

Cant_C_Me is twin turbo on the stock transmission and clutch I believe. I was going to use the twin disc that Sycraft uses when my current clutch gets to be a bit more worn out.
