Hell, I've only run into two ZL1s and a couple GT Mustangs this year and in Vancouver there are virtually no other places to come race.
I'd love to see one come race and I'd take my losing like a man if it's faster but I'm not holding my breath for them to show up. Hell I've yet to even see a GT500 come out and there are lots of them in the area.
I think there is a limited amount being made for the guys/gals up North. So,...it may be a while. lol
That sucks. I would be pissed if I had the money to buy one up there and couldn't because the allocation was already taken up.

Let's be honest; most Hellcat owners will take them to the 1/4 mi track before a road course which is really what it's intended for and that's fine. I am curious to see how it performs on a road course.

"This one comes from the factory with dumps" - False (I posted a link to Allpar that describes the exhaust setup on the Scat Pack car - i'll post it again https://www.allpar.com/cars/dodge/challenger/2015.html)

"15.4 inch Brembos all the way around" - False (The front rotors are 15.4 the rears are 13.8)

But the Hellcat is still a badass car and the 8-speed has improve the entire challenger line-up.

I am *very* curious how the new 8 speed is going to help the 5.7 R/T's. They were already reasonably quick with the 5 speed

Hellcat is 15.4 all around. I was at Carlisle for the reveal and the chief engineer made a point to state that. There is a video of that somewhere on here.

Correction on my part, the rears are 14.2 inch rotors...http://www.drivesrt.com/2015/challenger-srt-hellcat/

scroll down untill you get to unlock braking a click on one of the four white circles and it will tell you the size.

Turbo cars don't see that big of a hit from DA changes but supercharged ones definitely don't run as good in bad DA. In any case I would love to see how many stock cars costing $60k or less can do 118mph traps in that kind of DA.

That's funny their own engineer doesn't know his own product.

Either way, it's still a great car.

Either that or the web developer didnt confirm their info. I've heard three different numbers for the size of the back brakes.

If I were In the market to get rid of the Camaro I would seriously be looking at the 6.4 liter R/T. At 40,500 you get it 8 speed automatic, 485 HP, runs low 12s stock, 25 miles per gallon on the highway, active exhaust and a glorious exhaust note. Simply an all-around better deal then the Camaro can offer with an automatic.

I agree

If I was in the market I would be trading up to get the 6.4L Scat pack or Shaker RT looks like a good deal

I agree. This car is the most bang for the buck for sure. Plus it is smoke'n hot.

It is and it isn't. It won't offer the handling of the new Mustang GT, or even that of the present 1LE. What it will offer is everything else. So depending on your needs it may or may not be. For myself this will most likely be my next vehicle.
