Does that pump require a return line?

I see that it does now. So what's the big deal running a return line is it really needed? And how hard is it to do?

Hello,
I am using the Holley dual 450lph pump assy. it is rated to 1,700hp with a return system and by passing the computer fuel controller. I used the original metal fuel line as my return line. The fuel lines over the top of the fuel tank easily run down the side of the fuel tank. A good check valve and regulator are a must. Also a pressure switch for the second pump as for normal driving only one pump is used. Tuning was easy after setting fuel pressure regulator. These are on my build journal but thought I would include some pics for you.

Thanks vic I'll have to take a look at your build and go through it. I'm in no hurry at the moment just researching for the next steps. Thank you sir.

So the duty cycle for my mods on E85 is 70%. I'm running 1200cc injectors at 43.5psi
I haven't been to the dyno yet, but guess I'm a smidge over 700wheel

The only concern I have with this pump or any pump for that matter is that I will be doing a lot of auto cross type stuff and am wondering about fuel starvation because they don't use a fuel bucket. I'm not sure what the guys do yet but I doubt thet run a full tank of gas.

DSX was working on a drop in pump at one time. Might try reaching out to Dave @DSX and see he if has anything that will work for what you're looking for.
