Trying to decide on a crank for a ls427 build??

I’m looking at building a ls427 short block good for about 1500hp .im looking at the dart ccw crank and the Callies dragonslayer.anyone have an opinion between these two cranks ???im going to be running the new magnuson 2650 with the new shortblock .

I'd suggest a different power adder if you're trying to make that much power

What block do you plan on using? If aluminum, a dart ls next block and their billet ccw crank would get my vote

If you're planning on staying with the stock block a k1 or compstar will outlive the block at that level.

If you're looking at 1k hp then the Dragonslayer will work fine for you. If you're looking for much more, then I think you should go billet, like Magnum or Ultra.

Or Callies CCW ?

It does seem the CCW is a very worthwhile aspect for higher power setups.

LME has an LSX short block rated for 1500+HP... Dragon Slayer crank, ultra billet rods, to show you parts for a build like that. It's a lot of engine for a decent price.

I did everything at once is it’s all priced together total block was around 12,000. I believe the oil pump isn’t much. The warranty is if they install the pump motor is under warranty automatically. There long block setup includes rockers and all. I’m just going to sell the stock block to counter the cost
