So I created an album of a couple of pics for you showing the problem that occurred. Turns out that it wasn't as bad as everyone thought. The issue is on the spoiler and not the deck lid as was original reported, so a new spoiler was ordered on Wednesday. The dealer expects it to be in their shop sometime Thursday and they feel they can do the repairs and be able to deliver the car on Friday or Saturday.

Becky and I were able to go see the car and it is absolutely gorgeous. We can't stand the wait but it is comforting to know her Vette is only a couple of miles away now. This has certainly been an experience with a lot of ups and downs but after seeing the car with our owns eyes, it's totally worth it!

Check it out and I'll keep you up to date as we learn of any progress.

Hello all.

I am 23 and live in Fort Worth Texas. I bought a 2014 stingray convertible when they first came out. Decided to try and be practical so I traded that in on a 2015 Chevy Silverado High Country Turbo Diesel. I have had this truck about 4 months and absolutely love it. The truck is just no fun to drive after having the new stingray.... After missing my vette I decided to order a 2016 and trade the truck in. Here are my status codes so far.

2016 Z51 Convertible 1LT
Arctic White, Adrenaline Red leather, black wheels, red brake calipers

7/14/15 - 1100 Order placed at dealer
7/14/15 - 1102 Order entered via web
7/20/15 - 2000 Order accepted by GM
7/24/15 - 3000 Accepted by production control
7/28/15 - 3300 Scheduled for production
7/30/15 - 3400 Broadcast

As of today, 8/8/15, I am still at 3400 as far as I know. Is there a better way to get the most current status of my vette instead of waiting on my salesman to forward me the emails he receives? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I feel the vet is moving along fairly well but as most of you know, once you order one you patience doesn't last long. I was lucky enough to get a z51 allocation so I am pretty excited about that.
