Maybe sooner. Still need a better cable (ordered) & better SD cards (to be purchased locally). And to learn how to down/up load & manage the pics. I'll figure it out.

I saw one of the coolest sunsets here this evening, while I was sitting in my office doing OT.

The clouds were purple. Oh well, I'll get out there one evening.

I have another team meeting tomorrow. It appears more work/responsibility is headed my way.

Feeling pretty disgusted tonight. Am I the only one here who sometimes wishes we could just roll everything back to the technology level of the '70's?????? Life was so much simpler. You did not have to get a PhD in every new item you purchased to use it.

My poor old laptop has been acting up again. Mike worked on it today to clean it out. He had to remove the Itunes stuff as it was just bogging the old POS down. I took some pics with my Iphone today so I tried to email them to myself. They appear to have sent from the phone but have not arrived in my email.

I already typed this post once, I went to add some smileys & the whole computer froze up & I had to shut it down.

Mike has been working on trying to learn about the new camera today. At this point either we are too stupid to use this intelligent camera, or it is not working. We cannot get it to take any pic using the zoom. It will zoom in, focus & take the pic but the pic that is recorded is not zoomed in. Mike & I have read, watched how-to videos on utube..........................nothing. We are seriously considering taking it back & getting the one I originally wanted. It's cool to have the ability to change lenses & all those functions but it is way over our pay grade. Pretty darn heavy too.

Some days I feel like I just need to go get me a room beside my dad in the assisted living facility.

I did some OT tonight as I could not touch my schedule during normal work hours. The only peace I get is when everyone goes home.

Good Morning crew. Well, I hate to say it, but we decided that the camera was not the one for us. Apparently to get the sort of zoom we want we would need an even bigger lense. Plus I just son't like the fact that the image you see in view screen when you zoom is not the framing of the image you get when you take the pic. Apparently that is just the way it works for that camera. For what we do and how we use the camera, it is just not the one for us. Nikon also makes a single lense camera with good zoom capability, not as heavy & more user friendly in the same color. We will be getting it.

A camera with a huge zoom lense on it is just not a practical thing to be hauling around at drag race & auto cross events. At a car show you can walk right up to anything you want a close-up of so the normal lense would be okay but at action events sometimes you need to zoom in to get the shot you want. I want good pics but no plans to be a professional. This will be more our speed.

Today is my last day this week in the new Nashville office & tomorrow will be my first day working (once again) out of the local Springfield office. I have to gather some things to take with me as you need toys & books to do therapy with preschoolers. That part will be a pain in the butt, but it will be nice to not have to make that awful drive at least one day a week.

HAGD all.

Sorry the Nikon did not work out for you Jan.

We signed a contract today for an in ground pool build. Still have a long way to go, but the earliest it will be completed is around Memorial Day. I won't hold.my breath.

What a very long tiring day. I hate trainings. I did not get enough sleep & so I was sleepy all day. It was not a bad training but sitting all day in a too warm room was not what I needed to do being that sleepy. I will be turning in early tonight.

It's Friday Eve! I am looking forward to not having to make that terrible drive tomorrow & getting myself re-oriented to working out of the Springfield office one day a week. Have a nice evening crew.

Throw back Thursday

I see this on Facebook, so I thought I'd post a throwback picture of when I first got my car. Before any mods except the rally stripes.
