That being the case then you could buy the Ebay Plugs but just know you may have to trim some of the plastic to fit. I used a bench grinder but maybe a pair of wire cutters would do the trick. The fit still wasn't perfect as the hook part would not go all the way down to the bolt stud but close enough that the washered nut covers the gap and secures the plug to the firewall. You have to put the tabs of the plug into the firewall and twist the plug down into position on the nut stud. The end result was it looks OEM and you can't tell it doesn't fit perfectly.

Just happen to have one I don’t need!!
Bought in case I had to delete the sound tube, but the car came without it.

I Just got notified that the plug was shipped so GM Parts Overstock.com has them. After shipping and tax was $16.xx. Item was shipped.

I appreciate it but I was able to find the GM plug in stock. I also received the 3D printed part and it is excellent.

I appreciate everyone's help and recommendations.

On a side note, I do have to recognize that even though this is a simple part, GM designed it very well. I like that it has a foam gasket, it only fits one way, and it actually keys into the two slots to make sure it seals well. And then is held in place by a nut. Very well designed.

What’s the part number for the plug in the intake tube. I want the oem one not the 3D printed ones. Thanks.
