Code C0267 after calipers removed?

Hi everyone,

I pulled off all my calipers, powder coated them, drained the brake fluid, put them all back on and bled the brakes. Everything works fine, but now I get a C0267 code when I run a scan. That code says: HISTORY Low brake fluid indicated.

My guess is that the CPU read the status when it was low / empty and that I can ignore it and it will go away. The brake fluid is completely full.

Anyone else have this occur?

If you scanned it, can you not clear the code?

From what I read, the GM circuit for detecting the brake fluid level is normally open. I would try uplugging the sensor and see if the code clears. You can also just try tapping on the reservoir in case the float is stuck at the bottom.
There is also the possibility or wiring damage causing the closed circuit.

Taking out the sensor and reinstalling did the trick! Thanks for the help. Much appreciated
