If they are the same, obviously the newer one would be slightly better in all technical aspects now wouldn't it? smh.

SS its heavier and makes less power.

They beat an incapable driver not the car.

I had an interesting exchange with a SS, once. We were rolling down the road doing about 70ish. I rolled past him and when I was a couple of cars ahead, he floored it from behind me. When he got door to door with me, I down shifted and went WOT. He was about two cars ahead before I started to pick up enough steam to pass him by.

He slowed down before I could. We got next to each other and went from a 35 roll on a 3 count. The second I stabbed the throttle his car disappeared behind me. We shut down at a "decent" speed and I was comfortably ahead by at least 4+ cars.

I think most haven't driven a Chevy SS. The handling on the SS (sedan) is much better than the Camaro. The SS has the Zeta II chassis with MRC standard. As for power, the Camaro LS3 will pull on a A6 SS but not the M6 SS. The M6 cars have been putting down 380-385 stock with a 3:70 gear. Stock for stock a Camaro SS will have it's hands full against a SS(sedan).
