Both packages are overkill for my use. Probably can’t lose with either, but lean toward the GMC. Not a fan of the AT4x first release interior colors. Was leaning toward a AT4 or Denali but probably gonna go Tacoma if I go midsize.

GMC for two reasons - Multimatic shocks and the ability to lock both the front and rear diffs.

It is basically a grown up version of my Colorado ZR2 and can attest that the multimatic shocks are like magic and the ability to lock both diffs has bailed me out a few times.

It's technically not, they are pretty much the same price.

Also worth considering:

Pro-AT4X:
AT4X is 350lbs lighter
AT4X has cooled seats stock, not an option on Raptor
AT4X has stock spray in bedliner, $500 extra on the Raptor
AT4X has sunroof as an option, not available on the Raptor

Pro-Raptor:
Raptor has 90+ more horsies than AT4X
Raptor has stop and go adaptive cruise control, not available on AT4X
Raptor has +2 speeds to the transmission
Raptor has power rear sliding window unlike AT4X
Raptor has power folding side mirrors unlike AT4X
Raptor has stock LED bed lighting ($350 extra on AT4X)
Raptor has stock auxiliary accessory buttons ($295 extra on AT4X)

Same price, so pick your poison.

Hartford has all the points covered above.

As much as I hate to admit it, I think the Ranger Raptor might be the slightly better off-road truck, and it's going to have considerably more power. But to my eyes, I just think the Ranger styling is just....not great. lol. I like the Canyon, and I love it's interior. Not a fan of those wheels on the AT4X though...I'd have to swap them.

I'm hoping to own a 3rd gen Canyon sometime in the near-ish future, but it's not in my cards just yet.

Side note: When it comes to Ranger Raptor versus the Colorado ZR2, I think the ZR2 is the clear winner simply because of it's big price difference alone.

Is the Ranger Raptor even out yet? I don't think it's been released. Or even the next gen trucks?

Production on 2024s in general was supposed to start in August, not sure of Raptors specifically. Looks like folks with both normal and Raptor orders on Ranger6g are reporting january for their build dates now, but they keep being pushed back. Sound familiar?

Ha i argued with a guy on the colorado forum that tried to say the ZR2 and Raptor were the same price: coloradofans.com/threads/zr2-order-banks-are-now-open-zr2-build-updates-and-tracking-thread.434269/page-47 there are certainly some good, fair points to bring up about comparing stock vs extra features but still, the zr2 is the better deal imo

Ranger Raptor also has electronic locking front and rear diffs.

Looking hard at the Ranger Raptor, ZR2 and Taco TRD OR, the taco because it offers an actual 6' bed, even though it's not quite as fast as the other two. ZR2 looks to be a pretty decent value though compared to the RR and the smaller bed *will* work, just not as easily for what I want.
