I have to admit that when I first saw the C7 rear-end, I was a bit disappointed in the Camaroish tail-lights. But I have to admit that I was wrong: they fit the overall design scheme of the car perfectly.
Now if they could only make the area below the tail-lights look a bit cleaner...but I digress. |

I'm still trying to figure where folks get that the C7's tailights are "Camaro-ish".
I don't see it.

Z51 Stingray, I'm with you! The only similarity is they are not round, they're red and there's 4 of them. That can be said of dozens of cars!

on second thought...
I have to admit owning a 2010 Camaro...I was disappointed with the new C7 tail lights. But after listening to the designers logic and since seeing the round tail light renderings...I have to admit, the tail lights were the right call. I have since bought a C7 and the back end has really grown on me.

If the tail lights bother someone that much, go buy a used C6. Why stop there.. change the hood to get rid of the scoop. Oh.. maybe the headlights need to be flip up. This is crazy

Don't forget that since the inclusion of independent rear suspension in 1963, no true Corvettes have been made.

You really mean no true Corvettes have been built since the V8 was introduced in 1955! The only real ones have inline 6-bangers and wire baskets over the headlights!
(BTW independent rear suspension was introduced in 1963, not 1965 - we'll just keep that between ourselves)
