Well everyone says it doesn't belong there, and I agree. The chrome outline of the flowtie draws you eyes right to it and is out of place where it is. So if you make it "disappear" by blacking it out. It might not be so bad and it's quick and easy. But whoever designed that front on the SS really screwed the pooch.

That's putting it politely.

The sad part is that Chevy has been planning this for a long time... remember that last Transformers movie? Yeah...

I'll say what I said in another thread.... this design was already being worked on before that movie. I would bet that they already the new refresh fascia pretty much 90% designed and then they just turned up the "wild/crazy" factor for the movie car. If you look at them side by side that's exactly what it looks like they did.

My point: The Transformers car was based on the refresh... not the other way around.

I get that, it's why I said they were working on it for a long time. For them to have a modded out version ready for Transformers they needed to have had that fascia for a while before the movie started filming. Filming a movie takes quite a while too, so this "refresh" is not all that fresh.

Totally agree and now I understand what you'd do. That front end is butt fugly, so fugly its foogly.

I guess I didn't see that last Transformers movie.
