Talking Yep! It's Been Five Months Now!!!!

And I have gotta say......I JUST LOVE THIS CAR!!!!!

I have always wanted a convertible and now that I have one, I cannot see how I have gone all my life without one! I was always steered away from owning one, from higher prices to folks who always talked them down to me, I guess they were just hating on them, or jealous of them.....i dunno.
Ya I have had several Jeep Wranglers and I know they are a convertible, but I have never had a "car" that was a drop top.
I have totally enjoyed the ownership of my 2012 hard top but after having the 'vert I really don't miss it, I do however LOVE the Camaros looks as a hard top, and I am not very fond of the looks of the 'vert with the top up, but once it is down.....NOTHING looks as good as a 'vert with the top down.
It turns out that a 'vert is all that I thought or imagined it would be, I am so glad that I stopped listening to all the nay sayers and just went ahead and got ME one, and an extremely thankful for the fact that it is a Camaro.
Now that I no longer use it for work and it is in "toy" status, that makes it a whole lot more injoyable, because now if you see me out on the roads in it, I am most likely just cruizin it and enjoying it. This car is a head turner and I get compliments all the time around town, especially when I have the top down, folks will slow down and honk at me, roll there windows down and start shouting compliments at me, takes a little gettin used to lol.
This weekend I did some cruizin in it and I even took a few pics of it down at Cars & Coffee right here in Henderson Nevada.
Notice the patriotic theme in these shots(red white and blue)----

We've had ours for 7 months now and feel the same way. I'm pretty sure we're convertible people for life now, I cannot imagine ever being without one again.

As Fall descends upon the snow belt, I am beginning to realize how long I'm going to have to go with top up. Bummed.

To the OP, I love your cheerleading of the vert even through the desert summer!

yeah winter is approaching far faster than I'd like. We've already had a couple low 40 degree mornings. I've got a nephew getting married in November, I'm hoping for a halfway warm day then so we can take Samus, then hibernate her for the winter.

Gottas love the white ones with the stripes, and the heritage grill sans the bowtie.....looks so clean and uncluttered......
