2015 SS Performance Package?
I'm having a little trouble finding out what the Performance Package on the '15 SS is all about. Can anyone give me a rundown on what it entails? I'm guessing this is more of a track-oriented package?

the 1LE package? suspension, wheels/tires, rear end, transmission, some aero stuff and the matt black hood wrap.

Performance package
On GM's web site at least in Canada performance package means 1LE. I think I read somewhere that there are around 200 different components in that package. The high lights are wheels, tyres, strut tower brace, shocks, sways bars, first 4 gear ratios, 3.91 rear end, a bunch of ZL1 suspension parts, steering wheel, shifter, shifter knob, matt black wrapped hood and some other stuff I probably forgot. Yes you do want that option
Do I have one? Hell yes! |

If you need to ask , you probably don't need it im kidding it's a RPO 1LE performance track package. Really makes the camaro a much better car to drive , especially on track! Look in the 1LE section you'll find all you need to know.

You should be sure to test drive one first to ensure it isn't overly stiff for your preferences. In the current Car & Driver comparo, the 1LE is criticized for being overly harsh on the street. And the standard setup does a nice job of controlling a 4,000 lb car.

My 14ss has a performance badge under the hood but idk what's different about it.

If you are getting a SS Coupe, its a package you shouldn't pass up, you get a ton for the $3500 and dramatically changes the handling of the entire car.
