I'm classy. If I'm going to put anything in your mouth, I will at least buy you a drink first.

Now that sounds like a good way to do things.

I am contemplating putting a 103mm on my car since I got the PC D1SC on it now. Trying to figure out how to do it without having to replace the LT1 intake manifold, but I dont think there is a way since the LT1 intake manifold is pretty limited on being able to be opened up on the entry behind the TB area.

Conventional wisdom says that on a blow-through system like your D1SC (throttle body is after the blower), you won't gain power by changing the throttle body or intake manifold. The guys who have reported gains thus far with the 103mm tb on supercharged cars have been using PD blowers, where the tb is mounted on the suction side. I have not seen the blow-through tb size question actually tested out though. Only test I saw was an MSD manifold compared to the stock LT1 manifold on a centrifugal supercharger setup, and it did actually gain a little power with the MSD. Since those results do not follow the conventional opinion on blow-through intake systems, this question on whether a 103mm tb would have any effect on a blow-through system remains. To try it out though, would require an $1100 MSD manifold to accept the 103, then the 103 itself is I think about $700, so it would cost a good bit of money.

I run a 102 Nick Williams, kicks ass and looks great hooked to the snout of my 2300 Maggie. Made 713 on the dyno in 88 degree temps. My old 90 mm ported TB made 703 in 58 degree temps on the same dyno. It makes some extra hp for sure.

I'm pretty sure they do make the Katech. Could be wrong.

When I asked the shop that did my PC this was their exact words as well, I wont see any gains from a 103mm TB since I am on a blow thru system. They said unless I am going for over 1000hp or pure HP only goals that it is wasted money for the level of power I am looking for at this time.
