I'll be there this year hopefully with some of my fellow Camaro club people. Doing the Tail of the Dragon on the way! Can't wait!

I'm considering adding a couple more days to my trip and doing Tail of the Dragon also.

I'm going to let the younger guys from my crew take over the CamaroFest detail shop and I am going to enjoy CamaroFest this year. I am transitioning from detailing into soft wash house and roof washing. It's much easier on my old body and honestly, more lucrative!

Great service you guys offer at Fest. Made my 50th shine after all the bugs and rain from the one day last year.

Ran the Tail last year, great road. Lots of traffic, motorcycles everywhere.
when you are done with that, go to the little town at the bottom, Robbinsville. there is a road called "Cherohala Skyway". its 43 miles, gets up to 5000 ft elevation. very little traffic. lots of pull outs and great terrain. drops into Tellico Plains Tennessee. It's a small journey from there back to I 75. if you need to scoot on to somewhere else.

Thanks! I have been asked to champion this for our local club, so I am looking for things to do to add to our itinerary. We will be doing this. Additional suggestions are welcome. Did you stay somewhere in the area?

Bill

My son and I had stayed in Cherokee the night before, got up early and ran the Dragon up and down, stopped at the souvenir shops, ran the Cherohalla, stopped for lunch in Tennessee. then ran to CF 9... Got there in time for the meet and greet at Smokey Bones. Busy day but we seen a lot!
check out the "Tree of Shame " at the Dragon. it's at one of the shops at bottom.

I only got my Camaro in 2013, I wish I could have made some of the earlier venues. I'm only 2 hours north of BG but I wouldn't mind it moving either again some day. Thanks for all you do Mike <3
