Is the front license plate bracket for $15 the removable one that they were talking about? It's this one... "VK3 Front License Plate Bracket &R7E $15.00". And any idea if there will be premium floor mats with the stingray logo like they said?

Yes, the quick release plate mount is the only one I've seen any information about. The order guide does list the premium logo mats as dealer installed accessories. I suspect they will come out sometime after production begins.

I recall a mention shortly after the reveal that a performance data recorder was part of the track mode. Some screen shots of the different modes I've seen elswhere on the web show things like g-forces, lap times, an enlarged tach and so on. I get the impression it is standard on all Stingrays. If so, that makes the performance data recorder $51,000, and they throw in a car for free!

It's the removable one.

If I had the cash to buy a C7 I'd probably go ahead and pick one up. It's kinda cool how seamlessly it fits into the front fascia, and it's functional too from an aero standpoint.

Got my order in. And I'm first at my dealership for orders.

Stingray coupe black Z51 package.
3LT package.
Black and grey two toned Napa leather interior.
Black aluminum Z51 wheels.
Body colored and transperent roof.

Paying $65,290-$40,000 trade in= $25,290+$1,770 tax title and fees.

So that's one hell of a deal for a new Vette.

Sweet. How'd you manage to do that? 40k trade for a wholesale value of 4-6k less?

Because they also added the ground effects body kit I have on as a factor and I've bought 3 cars from them in 4 years, Corvette being the forth and the new Cruze diesel being the 5th and possibly my old man picking up a new 14' Silverado would be 6th. So they take pretty good care of me.

Attached is an xps file I got from a local dealership. I had to zip it first because apparently xps files are not valid files to attach.

Cheers!
