Question Clarification On Wheels

Hi Everyone,
New to the forum / website here and looking forward to many years of giving and viewing mountains of great information. Getting things started, I live in Michigan and currently have her sitting up on jack stands stored in a CarCaupsule. I also removed the wheels and have been storing them indoors all winter. That said, I was cleaning them the other day when I noticed that they have "Di Cast" and "Made in China" stamped on the barrels of the wheels. Chevy details that the wheels on the ZL1 are forged. In my experience, "forged" is much different than "cast". Perhaps this has already been brought up elsewhere. However, I wanted to reach out to the ZL1 community to get your insight. Pic attached..

Thanks to all for the great site and feedback!!

Torquem is correct. Here is the company https://www.dicastalna.com

They are #6 in the world for wheel manufacturing, #1 with aluminum wheels & chassis components in the world.

Anyone know if the ZLE wheels are Chinese?

6. CITIC Dicastal

CITIC DICASTAL was originally DICASTAL WHEEL MANUFACTURING CO and is the first aluminium manufacturer in China mainland which was invested by CITIC group in 1988. CITIC Dicastal is the largest supplier for aluminum wheel and chassis components in the world.

Now Dicastal supplies main OEMs both domestic and abroad including Mercedes-Benz, BWW, Audi, VW, Peugeot- Citroen, Renault – Nissan, GM, Ford, FCA, Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Hyundai-Kia, FAW, SAIC, Dongfeng Motor Corparation, GAC Group, BAIC Motor, Changan Motor etc. In Europe, Dicastal has strong supply ability and more than a half of the vehicles has components made by CITIC DICASTAL.
