When setting the Bug Gulp to "brake duct," does the air intake not get as much air as it would normally with just the RotoFab installed?

With the Big gulp installed, it provides 50/50% air to the brake duct and the intake system when in the brake duct position. When in the intake position it directs all the air to the intake system - this setting is popular for use at the drag strip when you don't need brake cooling.

Either way you're getting more flow to the intake system than if you did not have the big gulp installed.

Best regards,

Tyler

This is correct, the Big Gulp is a bolt-in replacement for the stock air brake duct on the left side (driver's side) giving you much needed air to your intake while maintaining a brake duct. We've increased the inlet size to utilize more of the grill opening and it's adjustable. You have the option of routing all of the air to your air box or routing approximately the same air to your brake duct as stock, then the remainder to the air box. If you are drag racing or just want to go fast, go "all air box". If you are road racing, choose a position routing more air to the brakes.

Here's a view showing the air flow.

Here is a top view showing the shape of the inner baffle and it's position in both extremities. The small silver circle is the hinge pin location.

Looks like a Roto-Fab heat shield with a JLT elbow if I'm not mistaken. Also has our washer tank relocation kit.

The Rotofab looks almost like it should be stock. Without the sticker it could pass for stock oem quality fit and finish in my opinion.

Correct. I needed the 5" to 4.5" JLT elbow to feed the 108 TB. But really liked the fit and finish of the roto fab air box. The roto fab ZL1 air box wouldn't accept the larger filter and was angled wrong. That is a roto fab SS air box modified to fit the larger tube. And yes, a roto fab washer relocate as I have the big gulp also.

Roto Fab,
For the dyi #1.
Quality, Fit finish #1
Ease of Installation #1
Illustrated instructions #1 (I like larger pictures lol)
I have installed many different cai and none have been so thoroughly thought out.
I also installed the WW II relocation bottle. Very Easy install.
I was happily surprised when I opened the lid yo see how thick the bottle is. Also the
cap is high quality.
Happy customer, Sam

Bought my new ZL1 just a few weeks ago and the RotoFab was installed soon after (along with a cc). I chose RotoFab based on the performance gains documented by not only the manufacturer but also fellow members.

ADM's products are always top notch......no issues. If Andy tell's you that is will get X-results, then you can take that to the bank. We have installed and used ADM CAIs on numerous builds. You can't go wrong here.

Roto-fab; This is our CAI of choice in most applications.

Build Quality and materials are top shelf.

You can accessorize. Carbon fiber look, polished stainless, different color boxes, to match your factory paint, even colored couplers are available.

Great customer service is always a huge plus ; )

We have Roto-fabs on all of our own/shop cars.

I agree 100% as Mike and I both make great products.

ADM's CAI paints up nicely too. I painted one IOM and another for the ZL1 White.
