Installing black out tail lights
I'm in the process of installing my smoked/black out tail lights and can you guys tell me how to remove this two orange retainers.

I just did mine last weekend, I just pulled really hard. I didn't feel like it was any harder than when sledgehammer70 did his. Watched his a few times on YouTube.

I don't think you remove the orange retainers. I didn't remove anything except the old tail lights. Disconnected the wiring harness. Connected the wiring harness to the new tail lights and installed them. Nope. Didn't remove any orange retainers. Watch the video.

Thanks guys I figured it out after repeatedly watched sledgehammer's video. The instructions that comes with the tail lights says pull the orange retainers . Mahalo!

I used a small hammer and hit the studs a couple times and they popped right out.

That's funny. I watched the video before I received the lights so I didn't even look at the paperwork that came in the box.
