Misfire, Service Stabilitrak, Service Rear Axle

I have a 2019 ZL1 A10 with 3,500 miles and my engine has been misfiring. I took it to my dealership and they have replaced the coils, spark plugs, and injector, but the problem is still not fixed. Has this happened to anyone else before? If so, can you please share the solution?

MISFIRE cylinder 2 and stabiltrak error

YEP. The issue was a broken valve spring on an engine that only had 500 miles on it. Apparently at some point in time, GM's valve spring provider had a bad batch of them The dealer replaced all the valve springs. The stabiltrak error went away also. Fortunately the valve DID NOT drop down into the engine or that would have meant BYE BYE LT1. The SES light began to flash once the misfire was detected so at that point in time I limped it into the dealer.

FYI you will get stabilitrak fault with misfire codes, ignore the stabilitrak fault in the presence of misfires.

Damn, I hate hearing this. I thought it was not happening on our year, 2019. Please God don't let me be cursed with this BS. I have about 4000 miles on mine now.

Once you got to the dealership, was it an easy fix? I suggested the valve spring, but they just keep replacing parts.

By the way, is this while idling or were you driving and it was misfiring. because mine misfires while idling all the time. However, it's worse when the engine warms up. But when I'm driving, it never misses a beat.

I had a similar suite of errors during an HPDE after getting headers put on. Turned out to be caused by the harness melting due to it contacting the header...

I was misfiring while idling and driving. My dealership still has my car and they continue to replace parts on it.

Tell them again to yank the valve covers for a look at the springs.

If I were you I would check to make sure the plug wires are fully seated. If the wires are fully seated, then I would toss in a new set of plugs.

I have already suggested that, but they are either ignoring me or they already tried it. They keep ordering additional fuel injectors.

Doesn't the scan tool show which cylinder is misfiring, or is it randomly in all of them?

Thank You, I will check for proper seating and when I get JRE 125 kit (comes with new plugs), the plugs will be changed. I'm still trying to get a bead on a set of headers from Australia since my ZL1 is RHD.

It occurs in 3, 5, and 7. They replaced the three fuel injectors. GM told them to replace the fourth fuel injector in the bank.
