GM please read this: Z/28 must haves!
1) Must be released in summer 2011 (not late 2011 or even later). People will be driving mainly in summer, so releasing it after summer is stupid
2) Must have improved handling and road-feel. This is the number one criticism of the Camaro, that it feels heavy 3) Must have moonroof. This will be my "lifestyle" car, and I enjoy having some air from up top! 4) Must come out in cyber gray metallic. I think gray is the ideal compromise for black. Black cars look mean, but they get dirty quick and have poor contrast (can't make out the curves, lines and features well). Gray cars look almost as mean as black cars but has great contrast and you can see the silver or black parts of the car well against the gray paint. ---------- Those are my must haves and nice to haves. I've been I think quite reasonable with this list, and have not requested anything that is not feasible. Hopefully if anyone else replies to this thread, they will also be reasonable so as to not confuse GM with nonsensical or unreasonable requests with reasonable ones.

I agree almost 100% with the OP. I don't care about the sunroof, my SS has it but to give the car a Z06 feel, I'd go hardtop. For me it must be unique from the SS. I want to look at the Z28 and know it's not an SS. Much like the Z06 and GT500 vs. their standard versions. Also I think the Z28 should have it's own factory installed stripes that extend onto the bumper, like BB stripes.

Dude, your creating your own Personal Guidelines to this car. Gm will Laugh. How about atually taking Polls, and collecting Organized information, and putting it together in a Well mannered way?
I want to see a new Z28 just as much as everyone else, but If a GM representative sees something like this, they're just going to think "Wow, Our Consumer's are self centered"

You'd be suprised.
The only part of this skepticism that I agree with would be getting this car for some of the prices I'm seeing. Still - I hope it's similar to GT500s.
