Lightbulb Camaro with corvette steering wheel

I read somewhere of someone who put a 2016 camaro steering wheel in his 2014 camaro because he wanted the heated steering wheel. He said the wiring was pretty much the same but I lost the thread before he was able to install. I want to do something similar and install a 2014 c7 corvette steering wheel in my 2012 SS but I don't have the money to waste 700$$+ on a steering wheel, airbag and the leatherwork(to remove the corvette logo in the mottle and replace it with "camaro")without knowing if it will even work. Does anyone know if the wiring between the corvette wheel and the camaro wheel are much different?

Looks like the same Steering Wheel as in the 6th Gen Camaro to me. If you do it, you are gonna be putting in the time, research, and money to make it work. $700 for a steering wheel swap is a little crazy. You'd be better off doing a swap from a ZL1 or SS Sedan where they just swap over I believe but you still get a different look with the squared bottom of the wheel.

I was thinking the Chevy SS wheel looked pretty cool. I'm not sure which one to go with just yet. The links to the thread with someone else doing the same haloed. Thanks.
