Coyote guys make me laugh.......... LOL.

They can be some of the worst domestic ricers ever. The most common place thing is the stupid "ghost cam" tune. I mean really, everyone makes fun of people who have a fake BOV or CO2 instead of nitrous. I just don't see the point of being a damn poser like that. If your car is gonna thump, it better damn well make the power to back it up. Playing with the LSA on the TiVCT settings is the only thing causing this "lope".

/End rant

PS, it just drives nuts that some idiots actually think that they gain power like what we do with an actual cam swap. SMH!!

Yet a full bolt on 5.0 is competition for a full bolt on AND cammed SS.

Only because of weight difference. I've yet to loose to a similarly modded 5.0L yet. It's close, but I've beaten every one so far. Coyote is a great engine, but a "ghost cam" is as ricer as it gets imo.

They only 'ghost cam' because 'real cam' is $1500 for JUST the camshafts!
One of the many reasons I went bowtie for my musclecar...

For what it's worth, the tune itself does add power. Granted we aren't talking about the kind of power a cam can add but, power nonetheless.

Yeah I know what you mean, but there's a guy here who tried to argue with me non stop, saying that the ghost cam made power just as is if you were to drop in real cams, there's no difference. Ignorance at its finest.......

So, how do you feel about axle-back exhaust. That's all about the sound and not power. Still ricer?

I hate to tell you OP, but there are many Camaro and forum members that have "ghost" cams. It's not just Mustang guys that do things you don't agree with. Anyway, who really GAF what others do to their cars? For myself, I wouldn't do "ghost" cams, but I'm not going to condemn someone else if they want to. Ask yourself "how does what someone do to their car directly affect me or my why of life?" IF you can't come up with anything, then mind your own business.

From what I've seen, little to nothing on our cars. If somebody has dyno charts to prove my right or wrong that would be appreciated. I'm going off of what I remember.

A set of headers and a tune is the smarter way to go.
