National Corvette Museum Bash

Is anyone planning to go the National Corvette Museum's Bash at the end of April?

According to their schedule of events they will have a 2016 Z06 on display and will be giving a presentation about the car on Friday morning.

I have never attended this event, but I am looking forward to spending a couple of days in Bowling Green. Actually, it will be my first trip to the museum also.

National Corvette Museum Bash

I've been going to this event ( along with a few Labor Day events ) for about 8 years running. Always a great time! Be sure to book a tour of the assembly plant which is just across the road from the museum.

For those who do the plant tour, you must pay ($8) when you reserve your time (online). WELL worth it. I've done the tour with the C4, the C5, and twice with the C7. Guides are interns from Western KY University, and pretty knowledgeable. (However, the last one told us several times the base price is $63K.)

A handy thing to know: The tour entrance is well marked, around at the back of the plant. If you drive closer, look at the charging station for Volts, about a dozen of them. At the outer end of the station is about eight spaces marked for Vettes only. Mine was only the second Vette there, and it's close to the entrance.

Dave
With all the price increases, does anyone truly know what the base price is anymore?

It seems to change with the wind or for GM's personal amusement.
