Ported throttle body?

So, I'm seriously considering a ported throttle body and want to hear from folks who've added one. Can you actually feel a difference, and did you notice an improvement in fuel economy?

I noticed an immediate improvement in throttle response, not much else, but it was a nice improvement

It's a relatively cheap mod and I haven't bought it. I'm waiting to hear feedback on the BBK 95MM TB that finally launched last October. Everything I've read on this forum about VMAX PORTED and others alike is that there is no solid evidence of power increase and maybe 80-90% of those who purchased one felt improved throttle response. Leaving possibly 10-20% of people feeling like they purchased nothing at all. IMO, if it is 8 out of 10 people who feel improved throttle response, then it's worth the $150 risk.

I have one and the throttle response was noticeably increased, as far as power no difference on the butt dyno. Would do it again and recommend.

I like mine as well. I drove with a rotofab cai for a couple thousand miles then added the added the throttle body. I felt like I could spin the tires a bit more when launching. That is compared to no cai, then cai, then cai with Tb. Could be just my head also. Still love it.

I'm kinda leaning this way as well.

Throttle response alone is worth it.

you may want to check your sources on this bud, the difference in throttle response was immediately noticeable and obvious.
Are you sure you are not a shill for that other company and their product???

Best $75 spent, but there is 0 HP gains with it just improves throttle response.

On the dyno it showed nothing. On throttle response, maybe just a little. I'm supercharged so maybe that's why I didn't notice more. It's pretty cheap but I wouldn't put it in the top of the mod list.

What about drive-ability? I have heard these make the car less than desirable to drive around in also...

I know some people just say they feel a difference so they don't feel like they wasted there money.
