Procharger i-1

Has anyone tried one of these yet?
I did a search and found very little on the forum.
Any vendors have them yet?
Seems as though they would work good for varying altitudes. So would a well spec'ed turbo setup I suppose.

When turbos perform better, have more upgradability, etc I don't see why anyone would do this.

Its a nice setup. Its big, heavy, but is awesome being able to have multiple boost settings, or custom curve on a centri setup. We have done a Camaro and a Grand Sport. Both of them have been very reliable.

Modded or stock cars. Mine is already at 510 NA and was planning an ECS or regular Procharger and meth. But Procharger is saying that this system caches boost somehow and ends up having the low end of a roots and the overall performance of a centri while being able to kill it for trips or set kill mode on the fly.. just really wondering how it holds up and if it can still throw down the big numbers like the regular systems.

I think right now the "max" boost is 9#'s. They are still working out the bugs.

Per Prochager, they rate the i-1 at 900 crank HP. They made 870 HP on a engine dyno with a LS2 on 14 psi of boost with a conservative redline and tune. No details on what all was done to the LS2.

They were having software issues with the controller in the 5th gen they were testing a couple of weeks ago. LSXTV couldn't get all the info they wanted so they are waiting to air the results.
