Sound on, sound off, sound on....
Denmark calls for your help. I drive a 2011 2SS/RS Convertible. The audio (Boston) plays for a few seconds, then disappears for a second, plays for a few seconds an so on... If I switch the radio off, the subwoofer in the rearseat makes a continuos deep pounding noise. Only way to make it stop, is to switch the car off completely.
In some cases (not always) the indicator lights blinking sound has a similar error. It blinks twice, then skips a blinking sound or two, then two blinking sounds etc etc.... I've checked the fuses, but they all look ok. Any suggestions as to what the error may be? |

You deny us Greenland then seek help? How dare you!
That sounds like a wiring problem and the first place I’d check is the wiring on the amp in the trunk on the rear drivers side. Last edited by SquawkVFR; 08-30-2019 at 08:52 AM. |

UPDATE: Got a new (used) amp shipped from the US to Denmark - Installed it and everything seems to be working now. The old one has clear signs of moisture attacking the metal. I believe the problem is the vent in the wheel well, so I put some hard foam between the vent and the amp. Hope it will keep the problem away.
